Determining if Lippert 1716 Pin Box Will Fit 1999 Newmar American Star Trailer

I have a 1999 Newmar American Star 34foot . Will this work on my pin box mount?

The Lippert 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC1191201 referenced in your question is a direct replacement for a factory Lippert model 1716 pin box. Different pin box models have varying mounting hole dimensions so when looking for a replacement you first need to determine what the trailer is currently equipped with.
Typically the pin box model will be printed right on the pin box itself, either with a sticker or stamped into the metal. If you cannot locate any identifiable information you can also try contacting Newmar with your VIN (trailer manufacturers typically aren't able to provide pin box info without the VIN since there are many different possible sub models and packages) or measure the mounting holes on your trailer to see if they match up to a Lippert 1716.
To measure you can use the attached image that shows which measurements you will need to take on your current pin box. If you do have the Lippert 1716 setup your measurements should show the following:
2a = 8-3/4 inches
2b = 2-1/2 inches
2d = 5/8 inch
2e = 15/16 inch
2f = 9 bolts
3a = 20-3/8 inches
3b = 29-1/8 inches
3c = 12-1/2 inches
If this is what you find then the Lippert # LC1191201 will work perfectly. I have also attached an article that lists the measurements for all the standard factory pin boxes that you can reference if you come up with different numbers.
