Can Replacement Fabric for Solera Awnings be Cut

Can these awnings be cut to fit if they are too large? Will they unravel?

Expert Reply:

I spoke with my contact at Lippert and she said that you cannot cut the fabric for the Solera Awnings. This is because the polycords inside the fabric will indeed come apart if you were to make a cut.

When choosing the correct replacement fabric size it is important to measure your awning from the center of one arm to the center of the other arm. If you take this measurement on your awning and get a 10 foot width then the Replacement Awning Fabric # LCV000334337 that you were looking at is the correct size.
