Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Solera Replacement Gas Strut. This is going to replace the 26 inch long gas strut for your Solera Short and Flat Awning Arm Assemblies. This will work for both the power and the manual Solera awnings. It will exert 124 pounds of force to help provide strength and stability for your RV's awning, so you can extend and retract it smoothly and easily again. It does measure 26, just shy of 26 1/2 inches when extended, and just slightly over 15 inches when retracted.
And because this is a direct replacement from Lippert, who is the original manufacturer for the Solera awnings, you can trust this is going to be exactly what you need, it's gonna fit right in place, you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. And it is made here in the USA, so again, you can trust it is gonna be good quality for you, but me personally, because it is a Lippert product for the Solera, I would trust this to fit right in place and not have any issues, so that gives me a little bit more confidence that this is gonna be exactly what you need for your awning. Replaced a broken strut with this unit. works good with no issues. It was hard to compress at installation, but I got it in.

They fit and work great. Just wish they would have come with the snap nuts. Had to go to the hardware store to get them.

Still waiting for the second strut!! Almost two weeks! The pony express would have been faster. The uses is nothing but a mess!! You should reconsider ever using them ever ...Milton

Perfectly
After 1 year, so far so good. It is supporting awning and I know it has to deal with a lot of stress.
Haven’t installed yet but appreciate the fast shipping and deluvery
I've made several purchases as an RV or from a trailer and have never been disappointed if I make a mistake they help me correct it but in most cases because they have good customer support I don't make mistakes I get the right product each time and every time

You're gas struts work very well
The original gas struts that came on my bullet camper awning was letting one end sag. I had the model number and brand name but couldn't find a replacement. I seen these on the etrailer site and decided to give them a try. They fit and work perfect! Love em.
So easy to order on line just put in your vehicle or trailer and ask what you need and you can have it in a few days. awesome service will be buying from them again
Replacement awning fit fine, looks great! Gas charged struts were on back order for short time but this was promptly communicated to me. Overall excellent experience!
The gas shock was delivered on time and works perfectly!! It was a replacement for a broken one on our Wildwood 27RKS electronic awning. It is stronger than the factory ones, so we will be replacing the other side to make them match.
