How Does Brake Controller Install in 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 Using Factory Install Harness

I bought the brake control for my 2014 gmc sierra 1500 the plug is hooked to the back of the cubby hole in the light panel in wont work I found a harness under my seat it says glove box jumper what do i need to do to get my trailer brake control to work

The brake controller jumper wire you found in the glove box can be used to wire in the brake controller you have. I am not sure which controller you have but basically you'll plug the harness into the port under your dash for the brake controller install and then you'll wire it color for color to the brake controller's wiring and it will be wired in and ready to work.
