Question:
What is the tire pressure range for Westlake ST225-75R15 5th wheel tires with a max PSI of 65 ??

Expert Reply:
The ST225/75R15 Westlake trailer tires, part # LHWL304, have a maximum psi of 80 but they don't have a range. They should always be inflated to the maximum psi when cold to perform properly and to handle their 2,830 pound weight capacity. A lot of trailer tires are supposed to be inflated to their maximum psi at all times.
If your current wheels have a maximum psi of 65 there' s a good chance you can increase that by upgrading the valve stems. The psi of trailer wheels is often determined by the valve stems they have. We carry stems rated up to 80 psi, part # AM20904. Your 15 inch rims should take a 0.453 inch diameter stem like this one.
If you need new wheels altogether I've linked our selection of 15 inch wheels. You need some that are 15 x 5 or 15 x 6 to fit the Westlake tires.
