Question:

I am traveling in a fifth wheel with a ladder mounted on the rear. I am also carrying a portable step ladder that weighs 40 pounds. Id like to hang this from the factory mounted rack that has a capacity of 300 pounds. Which racks do you have that will mount to the existing ladder that can carry the portable ladder? Also straps/bunjis to hold in place. Need this info asap...of course. Thanks so much.

For your step ladder mounting, I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Lawn Chair Rack for RVs - 4 Chair - Ladder Mount # LA-104. This will hold up to 50 lbs and can be mounted to your RV ladder. It includes the locking mechanism as well as the integrated straps to keep your step ladder in place. For additional tie-downs, I recommend the # EM05710 which have the locking clasp to keep the connection and prevent damage from a loose connection.
