Question:
Does timbren publish the travel the wheel will have from full rebound to full compression? I am debating these over utilizing set of take off chevy colorado 4 leaf 53 inch long leaf springs that have a dual rate of 175# for the first 3 leafs and an overload of 580#. This will be for an offorad trailer pulled behind a prerunner. It will be towed a bit fast so a bit of travel would be nice if not a requirement. Is there a way to easily mount a shock to this set up, outside of fabricating a tab and mounting one to the side?

Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension for Off-Road Tires # ASR1THDS03 has maximum deflection of 3-3/8-inches when used within its rated weight capacity. This is noted in the linked diagram.
For off-road use the improved ground clearance from completely eliminating the axle beam, leaf springs and shocks will be a big advantage, especially at faster speeds when your tires are more likely to kick up rocks.
For your off-road application you'll definitely want to use 2 x 2 square steel tubing between the two Timbren units to reinforce them. This will prevent the forces applied to them from being transferred directly to your trailer frame.
