Question:

I have a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with a 6.5 foot bed with the factory 5th wheel prep package. With the 5th wheel hitch C16520-16025 fit this truck?

The Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16520-16025 will fit the factory pucks of your 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500. If you have a rotating pin box like a Turning Point, then this will work very well.

If you have a standard pin box, then I recommend using a sliding hitch with your short bed truck to give you the needed turning clearance. For that application I recommend the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Roller for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 16K # C16668. This will fit the factory pucks of your truck and give you 12 inches of travel front to back between locking positions to allow you to have safe towing, and also have the ability to maneuver around gas pumps without having clearance issues.

If you don't want to deal with a manual slider, then you alternatively can use an automatic slider like the Demco Hijacker Autoslide # DM8550034 along with rail adapter # DM6194. I've attached a video of this system to show you how the pressure and turning of your pin box allows the hitch to travel as needed for turning clearance so you can stay warm and dry in your truck cab.
