Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this MOR/ryde Quick Connect Capture Plate for the PullRite SuperGlide hitch. Now you can use this capture plate to keep your trailer's kingpin from rotating in your PullRite SuperGlide hitch. Basically when this is installed, it'll allow you to tow your fifth wheel with the PullRite SuperGlide hitch. This does attach to the skid plate on your trailer's pin box.
Keeps the kingpin from rotating in the hitch head, so it allows movement of the trailer to be transferred to the hitch so that it can automatically glide to provide the clearance you need for 90 degree turns. This one here we mentioned works with the MOR/ryde pin boxes. Now, if you notice there's four nylon spacer blocks right here. These will be used for installation of this plate to the MOR/ryde pin box. And this part will resist corrosion.
It's a durable black powder coat finish on it. And just to flip it to the bottom so you can see. That's what the bottom of the capture plate would look like. (metal clanging) But that's gonna do it for a look at this MOR/ryde Quick Connect Capture Plate for the PullRite SuperGlide hitch.

The adapter plate went on the MorRyde relatively easily. The whole procedure took just over an hour. I would make just three suggestions, though. First: I have a small hydraulic lift table on casters which I used under the combined weight of both plates (felt like 75 pounds or so). I used the hydraulics to support and position and raise into position the 'sandwich' - thereby saving both our backs. That worked like a charm. Second: when you replace the 7/16-14 nuts on the threaded studs (attached to the rubber shear spring) I found it impossible to reach in from the back to place the nuts (I have fat arms!). Instead I used an old trick of putting a dab of wax on the head of the nut which held it in the socket, And third: you'll need a socket extension to reach into the holes to tighten these nuts.
In conclusion, this is a well made heavy duty (and heavy) product. We're looking forward to using it on our next trip. And, as usual (ho-hum) etrailer was super prompt - I received the product in just a few days. I didn't need any technical help with this product, but it's always comforting knowing it's there if needed. This is not the first thing I've purchased from etrailer and it certainly will not be the last. Thanks folks!
I received the unit in good condition and the install was fairly easy. I had the King Pin Box off the unit so I installed this off the camper which I think is easier. You do need clamps of Vise Grips, and at least 3 but 4 would be better. All lined up still have to test it.
I needed this quick and etrailer came through got in 3 days.I would give them 10 stars if i could.
Product quality and fit are as advertised, but the service provided by etrailer was off the charts good !

Well, I gave a 4 because the shipping box was all ripped up, although this was probably done by shipping companies. I’m happy with etrailer. I’m not real happy with MORryde however. Upon opening the box, I found all the fasteners were all over the place, some were missing, one rubber hole plug was missing. I called morryde , they sent new fasteners and plugs, however, they made excuses for all the issues. Their quality control is obviously very lacking. On the other hand, the pin box appears to be solid. Time and use will tell.
The instructions were very clear, it was an easy and straightforward installation
Fit perfectly and easy to install if you are a handy type person with tools.

Have not had a problem so far. Towing has been smoother.
Part came in a timely fashion. Fit perfectly. Exactly what I was looking for.
Had everything I needed and it went right on with no issues. Cant wait to hook it up and hit the road this weekend.
Personal was very helpful and item came when was noted, and was a perfect fit.
Arrived ahead of schedule and in good condition very satisfied

The plate worked fine - it did what was supposed to do. We are selling the hitch however as I really do prefer the B+W which I also ordered from eTrailer.
