Question:

IS THERE A PINTEL HITCH OUT THERE THAT FROM THE FRONT OF THE HOOK TO THE FACE OF THE HITCH IS 2 1/2 INCHES. THE EYE I AM TRYING TO PUT IN THE HITCH IS 2 INCHES THICK FROM THE START OF THE HOLE TO THE FRONT OF THE EYE?

I called a few of our pintle hook manufacturers as well as went out to our warehouse to measure some for you. Unfortunately, none of them will accept a 2" thick lunette ring. The majority of them are designed for a 1-3/4" thick ring like the Buyers Products 15 Ton Pintle Hook part # 337PH15.

It looks like from the photo you attached you are right at the 1-3/4" measurement so the Buyers Products 15 Ton Pintle Hook may still work for you. If not your best option would be to replace it with something like the Buyers Products 3" I.D Ring part # 337BDB1385 or part # 337B16137BK.

If you also need a pintle hook plate then I recommend the Buyers Products 2" Pintle Hook Mount part # 337PM107 as well as the Buyers Products Pintle/Combination Hitch Mounting Kit part # 3378520 to mount the above Buyers Products 15 Ton Pintle Hook.
