Will MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K Draw Power When Turned Off

Question:
I believe the MaxxAir MaxxFan draws 1 amp of power from a vans battery when it is off due to the remote control transmitter sensor. Will this drain a Sprinter vans battery if the van sits unused for a week or two with no battery recharge.

I spoke with my contact at MaxxAir and he said that when the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K is turned off it will not draw any power, even from the remote control transmitter sensor. With the unit off there is no concern at all of the battery in your van draining when it's left unused for an extended period of time.
