Question:
Hello, I installed a raider topper on my 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab. I’m trying to figure out what I need to do towire the third brake light on the topper into my truck so it will work. It looks like my tail light bulb is the same for braking and turn signal. I attached photos of the pre existing wires on the topper. Thanks.

Unfortunately, your photo didn't come through, but we get asked this question fairly often. There is a bundle of wires under the brake pedal of your 2012 GMC Sierra that will have an orange wire that should be used to power the third brake light of the camper shell. This orange wire is in the same bundle as the brake controller wires in the photo attached.
If you want to capture the signal at your tail lights then you will use the Curt Vehicle to Vehicle Converter # C56196 to separate out the stop light signal so you have that isolated brake light. An even easier option is to use the Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 to filter out that turn signal.
