What Drum do I Need to Replace My Lippert Drum with 696690 Stamped on it?
Updated 12/01/2025 | Published 11/07/2025 >
Question:
I have a Lippert 12K axle produced in March of 2025, will this drum fit my Lippert axle. The brakes are the same, would have to affix my hub to the drum. Lippert has a number 069969 as read from looking down at the number, or it could be read as 696690 as viewed from the center of the drum. I havent found any part numbers either way. Would rather get rid of this china made drum and put a usa made drum on it as well.

Hey Jeff, how did the Dexter brake drum end up working out as a replacement for your Lippert drum? It’d be great to hear if the fit and performance matched what you were hoping for. Your update could make it easier for others with the same axle setup.
