Question:
A holder for the 6 way electrical plug is provided along with a couple of 1/4 bolts but no instructions on how or where to mount it. Do you have any additional information on where or how to mount it.

Hey Mark. The 6-Way bracket mounts on either the left or right arms where the tow bar connects on the etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit item # e44FV. There's a couple of pre-drilled holes that the bracket will connect to. Typically people mount the breakaway to the other side of the bracket like the picture below.
They definitely breezed completely over that step in the instructions. How did the rest of the installation go?
You can add this information and any other questions you have where it says Reply to Jerred H and I'll be happy to answer them.

Hi Jerred, The picture answers all my questions about the intended location for the 6way location. In the end I decided to mount it on the bumper. The intended mounting location puts the jack lower than the skid plate making it the first thing hit if a rock or other obstacle comes along. It would also be a bad location for mud and snow. I also used one of the skid plate screws to mount the breakaway switch getting more ground clearance. I would suggest talking to your engineers about possibly making a removable plate to mount the 6 way into the furnished skid plate to help with some of those issues. Perhaps just hole for the 6 way. Otherwise the installation of the tow plate was very straight forward and went very well with only minor modifications necessary. The end result was very great. Thanks for your help.
