This rack is built to handle demanding loads, offering a 500-lb carrying capacity (250 lbs per bar). Whether you’re hauling ladders, lumber, or piping during the week or loading up kayaks, surfboards, or skis on the weekend, it gives you secure overhead space without taking up room in the bed. The crossbars run above the cab, leaving your truck bed free for tools, coolers, or larger gear.
The lightweight extruded aluminum frame is rustproof and coated in a matte black finish for added durability and corrosion resistance. It’s tough enough for long-term outdoor use while staying light and easy to handle. The streamlined design also minimizes drag and keeps your rear view clear when driving, so it’s ready for both jobsite and trail duty.
Square crossbars feature integrated mounting channels along the top and bottom, so you can attach accessories or tie-downs wherever you need them. The anti-slip rubber inserts help stabilize cargo, and the uprights can slide along the utility rails to fit different load sizes. Optional load stops (sold separately) add extra control to keep gear from shifting.
This ladder rack is compatible with most inside-the-rail tonneau covers, including Lomax hard tri-fold and Access roll-up covers. The design mounts above the bed rails, so you can keep your cover closed and cargo protected while still using the rack. Installation is simple with the included aluminum stake pocket inserts—no drilling required. I have traveled with kayaks at highway speeds from Wisconsin to Texasthree times with two kayaks and have no problems.

The rack works great. We’ve had the canoe on it. It’s solid. It has not needed any adjustments. The paint is holding up just fine. We’ve removed and reinstalled it twice with no problems. Very glad we got this one
