How Is Connection Made Between Wiring and Pins of 2-Pole Trailer Wiring Connector # PK12800
Published 01/16/2019 >
Question:
Your videos do not show the actual Wiring of a pollak pk12800 2pole plug. The Instructions were not available on the website either. How is the wire best connected to the interior of the plug on the trailer side. Should it be welded/soldered into the end of the copper fitting?? Or is there a certain size crimp connector that is crimped on the end of the wires and then inserted into the backside of the brass fittings?

Expert Reply:
You'll need to solder the wiring to the pins that are in the 2-Pole Trailer Wiring Connector # pk12800. Basically you take off the black front section by removing the set screw and then run the wires through the back of the connector and solder them to the pins and reassemble.
