Troubleshooting Roof Vent That Fan and Lid Power Stopped working

Question:

My fan will not come on and the lid will not open. I do not have a remote but a panel on the wall. I can open it manually but it still will not come on. Any suggestions?

If your roof vent, like the MaxxFan Plus # MA00-04500K, is supposed to operate via the control panel then it sounds like you need to check the connection from the panel to the vent and if that looks good the connection from the vent to where it is powered. If only one part was not working then it could be that one part malfunctioned but since everything stopped working altogether it sounds like it isn't getting power.
