Can An Upgrade from Load Range E Tires to Load Range G Tires Work Without Changing the Wheels?

Can I go from E rated tire at 80PSI to G rated tire at 110 PSI without changing the wheels

The answer is not a simple yes or no. The Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range G # PRG80235 has a load rating of 4,080 lbs at 110 psi. The similar load range E tires # TTWTRTM2358016E are load rated for 3,520 lbs at 80 psi. They are compatible with the same size wheels but they will have a different load capacity and will require a different valve stem for that increased psi.
So if you were running the load range E tires on the Taskmaster Steel Modular Trailer Wheel - 16" x 6" Rim - 8 on 6-1/2 - Silver # TA55VR you could upgrade tires but you have to upgrade the valve stems to # AM20906 in order for them to handle the higher psi.
