Installing Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch Cam Lug End to Pipe

Question:
Do the cam lock ends model 383200 fit via friction ie. do you drive them in with a hammer or do you drill through the pipe and fitting and install a fastener? Thanks!

Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch Kit w/ Narrow Hasp for Small Enclosed Trailers - Zinc-Plated Steel # 383200 will have the lug for the cam driven in and secured with a weld bead. You can alternately use a fastener as you described, but for the best function welding is recommended.
