The Curt 7-Way part # C55774 that you referenced is a fit for your 2018 Ford Transit T250 IF it has the factory tow package and the round connector for a 7-way present at the rear of the vehicle. It's possible you don't have the factory tow package and the connector you are looking for just isn't there. I attached a picture of what the connector you'd need looks like. This would require a different route for installing the trailer wiring. Instead you'd need to start with 4-way # HM11140244 and then convert to a 7-way with the # 37185.
