Dimension Needed to Determine if HitchMate TruckStep XL # HE4037 Will Clear Spare

Question:

How far down from the hitch pin hole is the top of the extension bar? I need to clear my spare tire underneath my 2017 Ford Expedition. Thanks,

If you measure from the center of your hitch pin hole down 4-1/2 inches that will be where the top of the bar would be. So if your spare is less than 4-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin down this would fit around it easily.
