Question:

We have 1999 Discovery with series 32 steps motor 5973820 gearbox 15320 and looking at some of your answers seem different. I think to use the Lc379608 motor and the lc379160 gear box. Is this correct? /thank you..

I spoke with my contact at Lippert regarding your existing motor/gearbox model 5973820. He stated that the correct replacement motor is the Lippert Components Kwikee Step Motor Replacement Kit # LC379608. This is a direct replacement for the motor that originally came with your assembly and will work perfectly with the existing control unit. For the gearbox you'd then want the part # LC379160 that you mentioned as well.

Hello, I also have a 32 series steps my control unit is a 9513, will this motor also work for that? Thank you in advance.

It kind of depends on what year steps you have. I reached out to my contact at Lippert who said that the "9513" number you gave me is probably "909513" made between 1999 and 2005. If this is the case then the correct replacement motor is part # LC379608. If this isn't correct then let me know what the year is and I can see what you'll need.

@JonG The motor home is a 1995 so the steps are from that time frame. Thanks for your help!
