Is there a way to just purchase the linkage arm for a pre 2005 linkage? Will the linkage arm from the newer kit work?

For just the A Linkage Arm on your pre-2005 (Pre-IMGL) Kwikee Step Assembly you can use part # LC379649. This includes just the arm and bracket for the Kwikee 22, 23, 28A, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, and 40 manufactured between 1999 and 2005.
