Clamp-On Weight Distribution System Needed for a Variety of Trailer Sizes

Question:
I need a weight distribution hitch that can be used on a 16 ft car trailer, 16 ft utility trailer 12 ft dump trailer and, 20 ft enclosed trailer. That can be easily moved from trailer to trailer with out the need to drill holes or anything else on each of the trailers. I also come into situations where I need to back up very steep driveways and I worry about a weight distribution hitch causing problems with steep sudden angles like a road to a badly planned out driveway. The type that makes my hitch scrap the ground when my truck is level with the road and the trailer is going up the driveway. Also, the kind that makes a normal cars front bumper rub the ground just by driving up the driveway. My area has these kind of driveways everywhere and I need to use my trailers in these driveways a lot. Thanks.

We do have a weight distribution (WD) system that will fit your various trailer size needs, but if your current trailer hitch/ball mount is already hitting the ground during some of the driveways you have to turn in to I'm not sure if adding a WD system to the mix is a good idea. The shank and head unit will hit the ground and if your driveways are steep enough I doubt the bars are meant to flex that much.
If you still need the WD system then the Blue Ox SwayPro systems have clamp-on brackets and all use the same components with the only difference being the sway bars themselves. For example, the part # BXW1000 uses the bars that have a tongue weight (TW) range of 750 lbs - 1,000 lbs. The bars that are available for this system are as follows:
200 lbs - 350 lbs - # BXW4015
350 lbs - 550 lbs - # BXW4005
550 lbs - 750 lbs - # BXW4006
750 lbs - 1,000 lbs - # BXW4007
1,000 lbs - 1,500 lbs - # BXW4008
1,500 lbs - 2,000 lbs - # BXW4014
Simply choose the bars that match your total tongue weight (loaded TW of trailer plus weight of cargo behind rear axle of tow vehicle) and the SwayPro will do a great job of leveling out your towing setup! You will need to get a 2" hitch ball like # A-90 or a 2-5/16" hitch ball like part # 63847 to use this system.
