Will Optronics Fleet LED Trailer Tail Lights Fit 7" Long x 2-1/2" Tall Cutout

Question:
I am looking at tail lights #TLL12RK The existing hole in my trailer is 2 1/2 X 7 inches. Will the length be too long?

The Optronics Fleet LED Trailer Tail Lights # TLL12RK themselves actually measure 6-1/2" long and 2-5/16" tall. The rubber grommets are what makes the overall dimensions 7-9/16" long x 3-5/16" tall and since those are the outside dimensions and they are rubber you will have no problems with fit.
