How to Carry Skis and Snowboards with the Yakima DoubleDown 4 Bike Rack

Hi, is this Thule Tram ski rack compatible with the Yakima Double Down 4 bike rack?

In order to carry skis using your Yakima DoubleDown 4 Bike Rack you will want to use the Yakima HitchSki Snowboard and Ski Carrier part # Y02418, not the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter part # TH9033. I can't confirm the Thule Tram will work with the Yakima DoubleDown but I can confirm that the Yakima HitchSki will. It is more cost effective than the Thule Tram and also lets you carry up to 6 pairs of skis, or 4 snowboards, or 3 pairs of skis and 2 snowboards.
