Does a 2018 Chev Silverado 2500HD Have Lamp Out Sensors
Published 10/17/2018 >
Question:
I am trying to find out if a 2018 Chev Silverado 2500HD 4x4 LTZ has these lamp out sensors. My new travel trailer has LED lights. I read in your description that these mainly are in European Models but want to make sure. I think I read Dodge may have them.

The 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 models do have the lamp out sensors as do more and more American made vehicles as they get more computerized. Whether your specific trailer will trigger the sensor or not is unknown as they do vary. If you find you have an issue, then I recommend the Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass - 7-Way RV to 7-Way RV - Vehicle End # 20142 which has load resistors to allow the trailer to function well without the vehicle having that lamp out error.
