I have a utility trailer which the tongue, frame, and rails are made of angle iron. Will this product work in this application?

Yes, you can use a u-bolt spare tire carrier like the CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier for Trailers part # CE22011Z-11050-2 on a trailer that has an angle iron frame. I have attached a photo of a similar u-bolt spare tire carrier used on an angle iron frame for reference.
