3 inch Hitch Anti-Rattle Device Recommendation

Question:
I have 2017 F350 SD that has a 3inch receiver. I plan to install a 2-1/2inch Rock Tamer mud flap system to my truck using a Ford 3inch to 2-1/2inch reducing sleeve and I would like to use this product to keep everything solid and prevent the Rock Tamers from moving around. Will this product work for my application?

For an anti-rattle device that can be used on a 3 inch hitch application we have the XL Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock part # SHP2040-XL which would go into the shank of your 3 inch hitch an can be used with a sleeve adapter as well.
