Will the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers Part # LC279687 Change the Height of my Trailer

Updated 08/14/2018 | Published 08/12/2018

Question:

The trailer is a crossroads cruiser 30 ft camper5th wheel max GVR of 11500 lbs each axle is rated at 5200 lbs 29.5 spring perch distance 34inch center hub to center. The stock iron equalizer dimensions is shackle bolt to shackle bolt of 6inch center to center and a height of 4inch center to center. I am putting on a 2inch lift and alignment from lippert. I have a few questions. 1. How much trailer height will I loose with the 279687? I would like to get as much of the 2inch as I can. 2. What would be the right kit? 3. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for your help!

For your Crossroads Cruiser 5th Wheel Trailer, I recommend the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers part # LC279687 over part # LC279688. These equalizers more closely match what you have on your trailer and will work great for you. There will be no change in height when switching to these equalizers as the shackle straps will offset the difference in height. However, since these equalizers are a bit shorter than what you have now I recommend using new shackle straps that are approximately 1/4" longer. This system will work great with the Lippert Components Correct Track Trailer Alignment Kit.

I have attached review videos for you as well as our shackle strap selection.
