Question:

2017 Shadow horse trailer, tandem leaf spring Lippert axles-5200lbs. And 33” wheel base. Looking to replace and upgrade the failed equalizer parts. Looks like maybe road amor with new bolts. Need some input.

For a trailer like your 2017 Shadow that has a 33 inch wheelbase the best cushioned equalizer upgrade is the MORryde ALLTREK 4000 part # MR89DR which is only option that has vertical and horizontal cushioning.

To upgrade your shackles you'd want the part # MR76ZR for if you need 3-1/8 inch shackles or part # MR58ZR for if you need 2-1/4 inch. This comes with new bushings, wet bolts, and heavy duty shackles.

Awsome,thanks for the info. Shackles measure 2 1/4 so I’ll get those as well. Anything else you would suggest while I’m there. We haul a few times a week load to the max. Couple hundred miles every other weekend for high school rodeo our daughter was the queen last year 4 kids competing right now, happy to add your sticker to the trailer if you want to send one.

@Zach Glad to help! Only thing you might consider while you are there is the condition of the leaf springs since those have to come off to install everything else mentioned. If they look good though may as well just keep running them. If you need to get new ones though you'd need to know the axle capacity and length of the springs.
