12V Fuse Location for 2017 Ram 3500

Question:

12 volt pin on 2017 3500 no power I can’t find a fuse for this pin. I noticed no power a few weeks ago and today the truck won’t recognize that a trailer is connected

I took a look at the online owner's manual for your 2017 Ram 3500. It looks like the fuse related to the 12V pin at the 7-Way should be located at the F30 position inside the power distribution center (in the engine compartment). This will be a 30 amp pink fuse. You will just want to make sure this fuse is present and in good condition.

Other fuses on your Ram related to towing are as follows:

F28 - Trailer Tow Backup Lights - 20 Amp Blue
F29 - Trailer Tow Parking Lights - 20 Amp Blue
F53 - Trailer Tow Left Turn/Stop Lights - 20 Amp Yellow
F81 - Trailer Tow Right Turn/Stop Lights - 20 Amp Yellow

Please let me know if all the fuses look good and you still have trouble getting power at the 7-Way or issues with the truck recognizing a trailer connection and I will be happy to look into this further.
