Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Dicor non-leveling lap sealant. It's a 10.3 ounce tube in tan. So folks, as you know, not every RV seal is going to be on a flat roof. You got stuff around windows, corner trims, sidewall fixtures, vertical seams.
You're going to need a sealant that states exactly where you apply it. So again, we don't want something that's going to self-level and everything. We want something that's going to stay great on those horizontal surfaces. So this is a non-sag Dicor lap sealant. It's tan colored.
And again, it's been specifically designed for those areas I was mentioning about the windows, doors, moldings, exteriors. And it gives you a flexible weather resistance seal that's going to help keep out water while also standing up to the harsh UV exposures, changing temperatures and that constant flex and vibration that comes with just every day traveling up and down the highways and byways, right And that tan color is going to blend well with most RV exteriors. So you're going to have a nice clean finished appearance when you're done. Now we do recommend routine inspection and resealing of your RV's entire exterior. It's just one of the basic maintenance things you want to do and that's going to prevent water intrusion and help you avoid expensive structural repairs down the road.
So a lot of people always ask, when do I do it Check everything at least a couple times a year. If you're seeing cracking in your sealants and those kind of things, it might be a great time to scrape it off and reapply some new sealant. Folks, I'm Steve with etrailer. Thanks for watching.
