Sounds like you blew the 12 volt trailer wiring auxiliary fuse of your 2017 Dodge Ram 3500. It is located in cavity J01 in the under hood fuse box (Totally Integrated Power Module). If the fuse is good and the circuit is still dead though you'll either need to take the truck to a dealer to allow them to reset the TIPM or you could bypass the TIPM and run 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) through a breaker like part # 9510 from the positive post of your battery to the 1:00 pin of your 7-way.
