Question:

Can I use my own hitch balls or does the company use a unique size thread? Same line of reasoning: is the drill adapter unique? $25 each time i lose that 70cent piece will start to make me regret the purchase of Valet XL

The 2-5/16 inch hitch ball that is included with the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL25 is uniquely threaded to tighten into the base on this jack. Because of this, you likely won't be able to use your own hitch balls. If you also need a 2 inch ball, you can just add the Replacement 2 Inch Hitch Ball # TVHB2.

The Drill Bit Attachment # TVDA that is also included does feature an asymmetrical design that makes it unique to this jack as well. If you were to lose the attachment, you would need to replace it with this specific part number for it to be compatible.
