Mopeka propane tank sensors need space beneath the tank to operate properly. These machined aluminum spacers clip onto the foot ring of compatible propane cylinders, raising the tank 1" to create the clearance needed for Tank Check sensors. The added clearance also helps improve Bluetooth signal range.
Each spacer clips securely onto the tank's foot ring with no drilling or permanent modifications. By raising the tank 1" off flat or metal surfaces, the spacers help reduce scratching and corrosion while providing the clearance needed for compatible Mopeka tank sensors.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with the etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Mopeka check tank spacers for steel propane tanks. So let me start by saying you are not getting my propane tank shipped out to you. So sorry, you're on your own for that. Basically, what we're looking at today are just these clearance spacers. You're going to get quantity four, one, two, three, four.
I just had another pack that I put on here just to show you what they look like installed. You're only gonna use these in conjunction with your Mopeka tank sensors, and the reason for this is if you have a tank that sits flush in the ground, that reader that's gonna be magnetized on the bottom of here, it's not gonna be able to do its best signal strength whenever it's blocked by this ring. So what these do is, I've got them all the way down, but you just put them on enough to get you some kind of space. The way, you can get that Bluetooth signal out a little better from underneath. So that's all they're doing.
They're just giving you some space. Think of them as like little feet to make them risers. They can rise this tank up to about an inch. They're about an inch tall themselves, but keep in mind, realistically, when you push them down, you're not getting a full inch. You're getting about a quarter inch to a half inch is what I'm getting at.
Now, these are compatible with steel 20, 30, and 40-pound DOT propane cylinders, and that's what they're going to fit on, and, again, these attach securely by simply putting them in place. You can push them in by hand. You may have to lightly tap them with a rubber ballet hammer or something like that as well to make them get on there really good. So again, you're going to get four, one, two, three, four, and that's going to wrap up our look together at these Mopeka check tank spacers. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
