Can Impact Driver be Used to Operate Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly
Updated 07/02/2018 | Published 06/28/2018 >
Question:
Hello, I just bought this from etrailer this month. My cordless drill was too weak to use the adapter and so I had to hand crank it . I have a stronger cordless impact driver. Can I use this on the Trailer Valet instead. Please advise. Thanks a million.

I spoke with my contact at Trailer Valet regarding the XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL2 that you referenced. He stated that they do not recommend using an impact driver with the drill attachment. Doing this will simply emit too much torque for the socket to function properly and may even damage your drill and the dolly. You will need to use a non-impact drill to operate the dolly.
