How to Keep the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR from Depleting Towed Vehicle Battery
Question:
Does this use the power from the battery of the dingy or the power from the motor home. If it is from the dingy, do you have to worry about running the battery down?

The 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332 is installed on the vehicle being towed. If you think you will be doing a good amount of braking with the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TRand you don't plan on stopping and letting the engine run for a little then the Patriot could cause your battery to get pretty low.
To combat this I recommend installing the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 and then connecting the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 from the center pin of the 6-Way connector to the battery on your towed vehicle. This connects the 12V power pin from the 7-Way on your motorhome to the battery of your tow vehicle.
If you don't have 12V power to your 7-Way then you can install the Charge Line Kit for Motor Homes # RM-156-75 and connect it to the pin in the 1 o'clock position on your 7-Way (see attached photo).
