Does Draw Tite Hitch 41948 Fit 2017 Ram 1500

Hello. I have a question. I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500, the factory hitch is underneath the only thing thats missing is the receiver. I have a toy hauler and the way it is 6500 pounds the tongue weight is 800 pounds. I want to know if the drawl tight hitch would work for my truck. I really want to buy it, but I really need someone to help me out with this. Could someone let me know if this hitch would work thank you

Since sometimes there is confusion between what a hitch and a reciever is I think best option would be for you to take a picture of the rear of your truck so that I can see exactly what's going on. Reciever and hitch are the same thing but sometimes people will refer to a ball mount as a hitch or reciever. So what we need to do is clarify the terminology and figure out exactly what you have.

If your 2017 Ram 1500 does NOT have a factory hitch then the Draw Tite part # 41948 will fit and work well. I attached a picture of what it looks like installed as well. You can see that there is not a second, factory hitch opening present with it.
