Question:
Honda 2016 CRV - Drawtite vs Curt Im debating between the two. Can you confirm that the Drawtite tucks back under the bumper more than the Curt? I really dont want to bang my legs on the hitch sticking out beyond the bumper.

Expert Reply:
Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75742 for your 2016 Honda CR-V is slightly more recessed under the vehicle than Curt hitch # C13119. You can see in the picture that they are both just about flush with the end of the rear bumper. The picture showing the Draw-Tite hitch from the side is a little misleading though because it isn't a straight on side shot. Still it is a hair more recessed than the Curt.
I have also included links to videos showing example installations of these hitches for you. Considering how similar they are and how close the prices are I would go with the Curt hitch since it is Made in the USA and people tend to like the finish on the Curt hitches more than the Draw-Tite.
