Can Diversi-Tech Ball Mount Be Rekeyed While Still Installed in Hitch

I lost my key to my dt towing hitch. If i order the replacement lock, can i do it without removing it from my truck?

Yes you can install a new lock core in your ball mount with it left in the hitch. The correct kit you need to re-key a Diversi-Tech adjustable ball mount like what you have is the Re-Keying Kit for DTLBM and DTALBM Series Self-Locking Aluminum Ball Mounts # DTLBM02RK.
I attached an install video for this kit that shows it being used to install a new lock core setup in a ball mount just like yours with the ball mount being left in the hitch like you asked about too.
