Question:
I placed an order for A Magnum Super Hitch, a Supertruss Extension and the Everest WD system which required a separate shank be ordered. My question is did I order the correct shank for what I am trying to do or do I need another shank and an extension for the lower tube on the Supertruss when I use the extendeder. I intend to use the Everest WD with the Magnum Hitch with and without my Arctic Fox 1140 camper installled, which has a 48inch overhang off the bed of my 2017 F350 Dually.

You have purchased the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum # TLF1008-30, SuperTruss extension # TLE1548, 7-Way extension # TLW6548, ball # C40085, Everest weight distribution system # TLWD1000, and shank # TLM9011.
The hitch and SuperTruss extension along with the 7-Way extension are compatible with each other. The shank, # TLM9011, is compatible with the Everest system, # TLWD1000.
But the shank is not compatible with the SuperTruss extension. You can use the Everest system with the shank directly in the hitch. Or you can use the SuperTruss extension in the hitch and use a different weight distribution system, just not the Everest.
The 48 inch SuperTruss extension is rated for 1,200 pounds tongue weight when using weight distribution and with the Magnum hitch. This is less than half what the Everest is rated for which is part of the reason it can't be used. If the trailer tongue weight is below 1,200 pounds you could use # RP66542 which has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 1,200 pounds. Anything rated higher though will exceed the capacity of the SuperTruss.
