Question:
Replaced 20.5 X 8 X10 tires Trailer manual recommends 35-PSI with Kendra 205/65 X 10 tires and wheels from etrailer.com. What is the recommended tire pressure with these new tires? The specifications say they can be inflated to a max of 90-PSI. My trailer dry weight is listed as 1440-lbs. We load it with another 200+lbs of camping gear, but do not haul water.

It is possible that the trailer tires that came with your trailer operated properly at 35 psi. When using any trailer tire, including the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire # AM3H480 that you referenced, it is crucial to inflate it to the psi rating on the sidewall of the tire. In this case it is 90 psi but for other trailer tires it may be something else.
This is the rating that the tire manufacturers have tested and approved their tire to operate at. It allows the tire to carry the most weight and properly dissipate heat. Any more or less pressure and the weight and speed ratings are unknown and you are more likely to have a blowout. Since the tire you purchased has a 1,650 lbs rating at 90 psi this means your total weight capacity for 2 tires is 3,300 lbs and your speed rating is 87 mph.
