Question:
I have the Blue ox 2000 and I have an issue with it porpusing and a surging, I have adjusted the hitch height several times and used the 9 th link and the 8 th link and different hitch heights. The trailer I am towing is GVWR 100995 but talking to other owners of the same trailer the tongue weight is around 1700# and have scaled my tongue and it is around 1250# without anything loaded. I also weight it with a full tank of water 60 Gal and it was 1500#. Any suggestions?

If your loaded tongue weight is 1,500 lbs you are at the very bottom of the tongue weight range for the Blue Ox weight distribution system part # BXW2000 which has a range of 1,500 to 2,000 lbs. This will give you a harsh ride quality like you have. The best option would be to go with a lower rated bar.
The Sway Pro systems from the highest to the lowest rated all use the same weight distribution head. To change the weight rating of the system, you'd simply swap out the spring bars. So for a bar with a range of 1,000 to 1,500 lbs you'd want the part # BXW4008 which has a range of 1,000 to 1,500 lb.
