Question:
Hello... I just purchased last night on your website item #BXW4008, the Blue Ox Sway Pro 1,500 lb bars. My current bars, 1,000 seem to be a little to light for the TW of the camper Im pulling with my 2016 F150. The total TW of the trailer when loaded is 1,080. The other issue I had with the 1,000 lb bars, was they werent shifting enough weight off the rear axle of my truck. Do you know if the new bars I purchased from you last night will help shift some of the weight off my rear axle and to the TV and Trailer axles? If so, guess on how much? Thanks

Expert Reply:
You are correct in that your current spring bars are not rated high enough to properly distribute the tongue weight of your setup.
Going with the # BXW4008 will be the best solution and will allow you the proper distribution of weight.
There is no way to know exactly what the tongue weight reduction would be, but your tow vehicle will be able to sit level now.
