Best Trailer Hitch Receiver for Ground Clearance to Fit a 2013 Toyota Sienna

Question:

What is the best hitch for a 2013 Sienna? I previously had a hitch from u-haul which scraped the pavement every time I went up an incline or over a speed bump. I finally got rid of it, deciding that the Sienna is not compatible with hitches. Is there a hitch that is specifically designed to hug the sienna and maximize ground clearance / minimize clearance problems? Ive seen conflicting opinions online about which hitches work with Siennas. Thought Id ask you guys since you seem to know your cars - which hitch is best? Thanks!

The trailer hitch receiver for the 2013 Toyota Sienna that has the most ground clearance is the Draw-Tite # 76112. When we installed it the top of the receiver opening measured 12 inches from the ground. The other hitches that fit the van are mostly around 11 inches or so. It's biggest benefit is the crosstube is tucked up behind the bumper so all you see is the receiver opening. I've linked a video of the install for you.

I can't promise you this is going to keep you from scraping the hitch on the ground but it is the best bet. Mini vans are naturally low to ground so it can be an issue. With that being said there's a lot of people who tow with their van's and we've had a lot of customers use this hitch on their Siennas who are happy with it.
