Does Curt Hitch C11448 Fit 2018 Audi A5 Sportback

Question:

Hello Michael H already replied to a question about an A5 sportback and c11448. I had a local hitch shop check with curt tech support and they said that although this model number would fit a 2017 Audi A4, they had not yet confirmed anything for a 2018 A5 or S5 Sportback. I noted that on your instructions for mounting this hitch all the diagrams refer to an Audi A4. Are you still confident that the C11448 will fit a 2018 Audi A5 Sportback ? Thanks

The Curt hitch part # C11448 DOES fit the 2018 Audi A5 Sportback. I found where the confusion comes from though as Curt has two fitguides for their hitches online and in the one that gets updated the most it says this hitch is a fit but in their other fitguide it is not listed.
