I looked up your order and saw that you have purchased both the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 119250KIT and the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7. The ZCI kit as you mentioned will not require any cutting or splicing. However, the 4-way included in this kit does not have a circuit for the reverse lights. The reverse light circuit is obtained through the 7-way trailer connector with the purple wire. The purple wire from the 7-way on the Universal Installation Kit will need to be spliced into the vehicle's reverse light circuit with part # SWC501746-1. You will need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to make sure you choose the correct wire on the vehicle.
