Troubleshooting FAIL Message on Air Lift Wireless Compressor System Remote

Question:

When I push button to check and/or inflate, the correct pressure reading 100 psi will come up and then the screen will show fail and the antenna symbol at bottom of the screen flashes. It still works inflating, but Im concerned with the fail and antenna flashing. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks.

I spoke with my contact at Air Lift regarding the "FAIL" error message you are getting on the Air Lift Wireless Remote # AL73002 for your compressor system. She stated that if the remote is still working fine to inflate the bags and check their pressures, the error code is likely resulting from a couple different possible causes.

The first possible cause might simply be a loose ground connection on the system. I recommend checking to make sure that your ground is secure and then try re-joining the controller with the manifold just to ensure a good pairing.

Otherwise, she stated that this message can sometimes occur if the check or inflate button is pressed too quickly. In this case, the error message will show up but the unit will still work to inflate the air bags like normal.

If you still cannot clear this message from the monitor, please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further.
