Question:

will this 5th wheel hitch in the subject line be compatible for a 2004 Ford F350? It will be coming off a roughly 2003 Dodge 2500 Thanks for your help

Yes, in order to install the Demco Hijacker SL Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # DM6076SL-16K on your 2004 Ford F-350 you will need to use the Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for Demco Hijacker SL Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # DM8553003-12.

Please keep in mind that if you have the 6-3/4' bed then you will want to use the formula listed below to ensure you have turning clearance. The turning clearance issue will not be a problem if you have the 8' bed.

(A + B) - C = Clearance

A = Distance from center of fifth wheel hitch jaw to truck cab
B = Length of Sidewinder arm (16K = 22", 19K = 22")
C = Width of trailer divided by 2 (to get half)
